Nail art is a wonderful way for you both you and your client to express their individuality and is both creative and fun. This is an idea course for Manicure and Pedicure therapists as well as Nail Technicians as nail art can be applied to natural nails as well as to extensions.  It is ideal for all therapists who work with nails and who wish to add more variety and extend the service they can offer to clients.  The course covers the relevant anatomy and physiology to recap on therapists’ knowledge but the majority of the course is spent on practical work.  The course looks at a wide variety of nail art and gives step by step guidance on creating a variety of finishes.  The course covers the application of decals (transfers) plus various other polish secure items – including rhinestones, foil, glitter, bullion, strands and metallic shapes, etc.  The application of paint effects such as dots, swirls, etc is also covered. There is also an opportunity for freehand painting.  Students are also encouraged to use their own imaginations to create designs unique to themselves.  Students work on nail forms during the course rather than on each other or models. This means that students can take their creations home with them and start up a reference portfolio for future work with clients.  This course is an essential requirement for therapists wishing to set up in business as a professional Nail Technician.
