foot reflexology training course

Our two-day Foot Reflexology course offers intensive practical training in all the techniques required to carry out a full treatment.

You will learn all of the zones and reflex areas, massage techniques to warm the client’s feet before the reflex work and cool them down afterwards, the appropriate hand positions, reflexology movements and treatment techniques. You will be able to carry out a full consultation, assess the feet and give a full treatment to clients.

How can you learn Reflexology in two days? Your training days will be spent learning the zones, reflexes and treatment techniques, practising them and putting them together into a full treatment.  Our core manual, containing health and safety information along with other material which all therapists need to know, will be sent to you so that you can study before you attend on the course dates.

Your course includes the theory required to become a professional reflexologist, including consultation, contraindications, aftercare, the history and benefits of reflexology and the characteristics and the different waxes, balms and oils which can be used in treatments. Your assessment will consist of a short theory test, a client consultation and a full reflexology treatment.

Once you have completed this training you may wish to add Thai Foot Massage or Japanese Hand Massage to your skills portfolio and if you like feet you might think about doing pedicures – we offer Manicure and Pedicure courses as well as Spa Foot Therapy which includes pampering foot treatments such as Hot Stone for feet and our Aromasole massage treatment using beautiful essential oils. When you start to offer clients these exciting new treatments you will see your diary fill up quickly.
