1-Day LED Light Therapy Course

All theory and practice are covered on the day, with no home study.

LED light therapy is one of the most requested add-ons in UK salons. It is gentle, non-invasive and suits every skin type, and it fits beautifully into the facials you already offer. This course teaches you to deliver it safely and confidently, with the science to explain it honestly to your clients.

You will learn:

• How LED works and how it differs from laser and IPL

• What red, blue, amber and near-infrared light each do for the skin

• A full consultation, including photosensitising medication and every contraindication

• How to choose, use and clean LED equipment safely, including eye protection

• Treatment plans for common skin concerns, and how to combine LED with your facials

• Aftercare and how to handle reactions

• Insurance, advertising and record-keeping, and where UK licensing is heading

You will carry out a full LED treatment on the day under supervision, in a small group.

Entry requirement: a Level 2 or 3 facial or beauty qualification, or a recognised facial massage certificate.

Certificate: CPD-accredited certificate after the theory quiz and practical assessment.

Please check with your insurer before booking that they accept this course for LED light therapy.
